My Name is Lindsay and as you can see in the picture, I have a gorgeous little family! My Husband, Gavin and son, Travis have become my two biggest fans and of course my two main topics on my personal site My Splatter Painted Life. I went to Art School at the University of North Texas and that is where I fell in love with all aspects of art, not just drawing and painting. After college I worked for my mothers Interior Design company as a designer, designing custom Western Pillows, Bedding Sets, Draperies and Christmas Stockings. In 2005 I got pregnant with my son and during my pregnancy my hubby got offered a wonderful job that allowed me to be a stay-at-home mom!  I started designing sites for myself and friends about 4 months after my son was born. I have always been a busy person and being able to stay at home with my son was of course a WONDERFUL life change but also left me searching for things to do to keep my creative juices flowing and to keep myself from being so bored. With a ton of support from friends and family I decided to start a little business creating blog templates for anyone that was willing to hire a rookie. It has now been over 2 years and well over 200 customers later I decided to switch over to a .com! I am in love with designing sites for my customers new and old, I have grown creatively in so many ways because of them!
